When I started this blog I did so because I was told to by my University "everyone should blog" they said, and so I hopped on the blogging bandwagon. Little did I know that I'd grow so attached to it! I absolutely LOVE blogging. I didn't think anyone would read what I wrote (apart from the odd friend who I'd bully into doing so) but it would seem quite a few of you regular readers aren't in my circle of friends, so hello and thank you! Because of this I thought I'd do a little "All about Me" page so we can become more acquainted!
Let’s start with the basics, it’s pretty obvious, but yep you’ve guessed it, my name is Emma! My birthday is on 3rd May, and I was born in 1989 (you do the math.) I’d love to be a celebrity journalist or a television presenter, either or would be amazing.
It would be fair to say that I am celebrity gossip obsessed. My favourite celeb would be the Queen VB. I’m not afraid to admit I absolutely adore Julie Andrew’s. She’s so dignified and talented. I wish she was my Nan. I am in genuine love with Dermot O’Leary. And I also often fantasise about Rihanna, massive girl crush! If I could only listen to one artist ever again it would be Britney. She wins over everyone, even the Spice Girls (totally heart them loads. Zig-a-zig-ahh!)
My friends complete me. I used to think the more friends you had, the better. I was wrong. I’d rather be able to count my true friends on my hands than have millions of ones who screw you over and don't give a hoot. My family; although at times can really grate on me, never fail to be there. My dog Jaz is the best thing ever. I’d save her over everything, (including my Louis Vuitton bag and blackberry) if there was a fire.
Gossip makes my life. I live for Tuesdays – Heat day! I love being orange. I want to shake whoever invented fake tan’s hand. It is a godsend. The smell that comes with it - not so much! I think that BBM is one of the greatest inventions ever; I spend way too much time on there! I love laughing. I love laughing so hard that I have trouble breathing! I also frequently giggle to myself over something that happened days ago. I can be extremely immature and laugh at the most inappropriate of things at the wrong times. I enjoy smiling, but I enjoy smiling and actually meaning it even more. I absolutely freaking love summer and being in the sun, but I also enjoy the cosiness of winter and the dark evenings it brings. If I could be anywhere right now I’d chose New York. That city is where my heart is. I plan to live there at some point. I strongly believe that the higher the heel the better, and if you sprain your ankle whilst walking in them you obviously need more practise, so go and buy some higher ones.
I’m opinionated and say what I think. If I don’t like you, you’ll know about it. I’m told frequently that I’m too blunt. I don’t like arguing but if I’m put in that situation I’ll give as good as I get. I am as stubborn as they come (apparently it comes with being a Taurus.) I absolutely hate fish and peas. I refuse to eat or go anywhere near either of them. Vile. Spiders scare the absolute life out of me. If I see one I scream and won’t go back in the room until it is killed. It can’t be put elsewhere because it will more than likely come back.
This may seem like a bit of a morbid comment to leave this on, but when I die I hope I can look back and be happy at all I've done and most importantly, all that I've achieved.
